Weird, uncomfortable thing popped up in Chrome for me this morning.
I got a note, next to the "please upgrade" menu item, that a site permission had been revoked.
When I clicked, I got a "security recommendation". This turned out to be a notification a site's mic/camera permissions had been revoked because I "hadn't visited it in a while". Despite the wording "recommendation", Chrome was informing me it did a thing, by fiat— with no clear way to opt out or reverse Chrome's decision.
