@Tattooed_Mummy I got a very important email from my old bank the other day, containing an encrypted pdf protected by a code sent to my old phone number I no longer have access to. It took all of 5 seconds to brute force it.

I had to do a training about how we are not allowed to contribute back to open source software we use without explicit approval from higher-ups as it could "give away the direction the company is taking to competitors"

We have this AI chatbot thing at work that replaced support chat so now we have to speedrun confusing it enough so it gives up and connects you to a support person

I also love it how when you click the little x button in the job list to hide a specific job posting you're not interested in, it will just keep showing it with the added text of 'We won't show you this job again'.

How has the youtube recommendation algorithm gotten even worse now? It was already pretty bad, but now I get about 10 videos on my home page (none of which I'm particularly interested in), followed by 30 videos all from the same channel and every single one marked as watched.
